Two Senior Care Assistants required immediately to join a welcoming 30-bed residential care home in Groomsport, located 10 minutes outside of Bangor.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a close-knit and supportive team where your experience and leadership will be valued, allowing you to make a genuine difference to residents' quality of life everyday.
The role includes a mixture of day and night duties (8am-8pm, 8am-2pm and 2pm-8pm and 8pm-8am) with flexibility to work on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday. Medication refresher training will be provided by the home.
Pay: £15.50-£20.00 per hour, depending on the shift. This is a temporary role for 6 months which could lead to permanent recruitment.
You will be responsible for administering mediation, supervising and supporting care assistants, providing person-centred care, maintaining and monitoring care plans, and promoting residents' dignity, independence and wellbeing. You will also work closely with nurses and the wider care team to maintain excellent standards of care.
Requirements: At least 6 months' experience as a Senior Care Assistant, previous medication training before starting the role (essential), and a compassionate, reliable and professional approach.
