Senior PMO Analyst - JIRA
Day Rate: £350 per day
Contract: 6 months + Extension
Location: London, Bristol or Manchester - 1 day onsite per week
IR35: Inside
The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Senior PMO Analyst to support a major Central Government digital transformation programme.
This Senior PMO Analyst role focuses on PMO support, JIRA administration, project governance, risk management and programme reporting, supporting complex digital transformation initiatives.
The successful candidate will have strong hands on JIRA experience, a background supporting large scale projects and programmes, and previous public sector experience.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior PMO Analyst:
- Maintain JIRA project trackers, action logs, milestones and delivery reporting
- Support PMO governance, project administration and programme coordination
- Maintain risk and issue registers, project documentation and reporting packs
- Coordinate workshops, project meetings, agendas and stakeholder communications
- Track programme deliverables, dependencies, actions and project progress
- Support senior stakeholders with project updates and management information
- Identify improvements to reporting, governance and project processes
- Support delivery activities across multiple projects and workstreams
Essential Experience for the Senior PMO Analyst:
- Strong hands on JIRA administration and maintenance experience
- Previous experience within a PMO, Project Support, Project Coordination or Delivery Management role
- Experience supporting large scale digital transformation programmes
- Strong project governance, risk management and reporting experience
- Experience organising and facilitating workshops and stakeholder meetings
- Previous public sector experience, including Government, Local Authorities or similar environments
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, SharePoint and Teams
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and adapt to changing requirements
Desirable Experience for the Senior PMO Analyst:
- Experience establishing or improving PMO processes and reporting frameworks
- Agile or PRINCE2 qualifications
- Experience supporting cloud infrastructure or digital commercial programmes
- Experience managing JIRA workflows, dashboards and reporting structures
