What You ll Do

• Provide in-hospital neonatal care during 24-hour shifts, focusing on newborn stabilization and support


• Manage complex cases including respiratory support, airway management, and procedural interventions such as lumbar punctures and arterial lines


• Collaborate with the NICU team to develop and implement care plans for newborns


• Perform procedures like central line insertions, chest tubes, and airway management when needed


• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records


• Ensure compliance with hospital and state regulations for neonatal care


• Participate in weekend on-call coverage, assisting with emergent neonatal needs

What You Need

• Active or IMLC neonatal nurse practitioner license


• Certification in BLS, NRP, and PALS


• Neonatal intensive care experience (preferred)


• Ability to perform procedures such as lumbar punctures, arterial line placements, central lines, and airway management


• Strong communication and teamwork skills
