REQUIRED PROCEDURES

  • Required:

    • General Neurosurgery: Adult & Trauma


    • Tumors


    • VP shunt


    • Spinal surgery with & w/o instrumentation (Cervical, Thoracic, Lumbar)


    • Placement of ICP monitors


    • Application of ext. traction



JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Board: BC/BE


  • Licenses: Active CA license


  • DEA


  • Certifications: FLURO


  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in the specialty

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide 24-hour beeper call coverage for neurosurgical emergencies


  • Perform general neurosurgery including trauma, tumors, and spinal surgery with and without instrumentation.


  • Place ICP monitors and apply external traction as needed.


  • Consult on adult patients with neurosurgical conditions.
