We are seeking a Gastroenterology Physician to provide weekend on call coverage at an acute care hospital in scenic Mountain Home, Arkansas ️. This position is ideal for local GI providers looking for a low volume, high value locums opportunity with consistent coverage needs.

Low patient census
Supportive inpatient setting

Call Coverage:

• 
  Friday 5:00 PM Monday 7:00 AM
  

Shifts Include:

• Standard weekend call


• 
  Two night shifts (12 hours): 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
  

Frequency: One weekend per month

• 
  Setting: Inpatient


• 
  Facility: Acute Care Hospital (200+ beds)


• 
  Trauma Level: Adult Level III / IV


• 
  Patient Census: 1 2 patients per day


• 
  Patient Population: Adults & adolescents


• 
  Cases Include:
  
  
  
  • Endoscopies
  
  
  • GI bleeds
  
  
  • Evaluation of GI conditions
  
  
  
  


• 
  Support Staff: RN team


• 
  EMR: Epic (Cerner listed in system history)

• Active Arkansas Medical License Required
  


• Must be local to Arkansas
  


• DEA: Required
