This regional medical center serves as a vital healthcare hub for the Mat-Su Valley, providing comprehensive cardiac services to the community. The facility is part of a respected healthcare system committed to delivering quality patient care with advanced medical technology and professional support.
Opportunity:
Physician - Interventional Cardiology
Job Details:
• Provide interventional cardiology services approximately 2 weeks per month on an ongoing basis
• Handle 15 patient encounters per shift
• Must maintain active Alaska medical license - will only consider Alaska licensed providers
• Board certification required with fellowship training
• Required certifications include ABLS, ACLS, and BLS
• Facility operates as Level 3 trauma center
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days
• Transition management opportunity starting August 1, 2026
• Convenient access to Anchorage airport
• Local lodging options include Alaskan Garden Gate B&B, Everett's, and Best Western Lake Lucille
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
