We are looking for an experienced PSV/HGV Mechanic to join our workshop team.
The role involves carrying out inspections, servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a fleet of commercial vehicles, ensuring they remain safe, reliable, and compliant with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
Routine servicing and maintenance
Vehicle inspections and safety checks
Fault diagnosis and repairs
MOT and DVSA preparation
Preventative maintenance
Completion of workshop paperwork and records
Breakdown assistance when required
Requirements
Experience working on PSV, HGV, LGV, or commercial vehicles
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence
PSV/HGV licence advantageous but not essential

Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
Tain IV19: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)
Experience:
PSV/HGV: 5 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
Driving Licence (required)
Work authorisation:
United Kingdom (required)
Work Location: In person
