REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Cover emergency department and transfer center calls for hand injuries; reimplantation not performed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Board: Board Certified in Surgery of the Hand


  • Licenses: Active CO License or Universal License (IMLC) with Letter of Qualification


  • DEA: Active DEA (required for credentialing)


  • Certifications: Board Certified, DEA


  • Experience: Hand Surgery Fellowship required


  • Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice/background; local/drive-in candidates preferred; must acknowledge EMR training requirements



Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide 24-hour call coverage for hand surgery emergencies (7a-7a).


  • Cover emergency department and transfer center calls for hand injuries.


  • Manage acute hand injuries and conditions.


  • Communicate with referring physicians and coordinate care.


  • Document patient encounters and procedures in EPIC EMR.
