Job Title: QRadar SecOps Engineer


Location: London, UK


Type: FTC / Contract - Initially 6 Months


Mode: Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced QRadar SecOps Engineer to support the administration, engineering, and ongoing optimisation of a security operations environment. The role will focus on IBM QRadar, SIEM operations, log source integrations, security use cases, content tuning, automation, and security workflow troubleshooting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and engineer IBM QRadar within a Security Operations environment.
  • Integrate, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot security log sources.
  • Develop and maintain SIEM use cases, rules, and content tuning.
  • Provide day-to-day Security Operations / SecOps support.
  • Support security automation and workflow improvements using Python and scripting.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot security workflows and integrations, including CrowdStrike auto-isolation.
  • Investigate and resolve QRadar and security integration issues.
  • Contribute to improving detection, monitoring, and operational efficiency.


Must Have:

  • Strong hands-on experience with IBM QRadar / QRadar SIEM.
  • Experience in QRadar administration and engineering.
  • Strong understanding of log source integration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with SIEM use-case development and content tuning.

  • Security Operations / SecOps experience.
  • Good Python scripting / automation capabilities.
  • Experience supporting security integrations and automated security workflows.
  • Strong troubleshooting and incident investigation skills.

  • Immediate availability or maximum 2 weeks' notice.


Good to Have

  • Experience with CrowdStrike and automated endpoint isolation workflows.
  • Experience integrating QRadar with other security tools and platforms.
  • Knowledge of security automation and orchestration.
  • Experience working in enterprise-scale or regulated environments.
