We are seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a 12-month locum opportunity in Arkansas. This assignment offers flexible scheduling with a minimum commitment of three shifts per month in a well-supported Emergency Department.

- 3:00 PM 12:00 AM
- 9:00 PM 6:00 AM
Friday Sunday
- 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
- 12:00 PM 12:00 AM
- 6:00 PM 6:00 AM
Practice Setting
- Emergency Department
- Level III Trauma Center
- Meditech EMR
Clinical Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat emergency department patients
- Manage a broad range of medical and traumatic emergencies
- Collaborate with specialty consultants and APPs
- Provide high-quality emergency care in a community hospital setting
Department Details
- Approximately 33,500 annual ED visits
- 20 Emergency Department beds
- 12 ICU beds
- Full specialty backup available
- Physician coverage: 36 hours/day
- APP coverage: 20 hours/day
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified ABEM or ABOEM
- Active Arkansas medical license
- Arkansas DEA
- ACLS, PALS, ATLS
Credentialing
- Approximately 120 days
- No expedited privileges available
