Child Psychology & Development Graduate - School Experience
Full-Time & Part-Time Primary Schools Aspire People

Aspire People are recruiting graduates and recent students with backgrounds in Child Psychology, Child Development, SEND, Education, Counselling and related subjects to work within primary schools across Manchester and the surrounding areas.

If you have recently completed, or are coming towards the end of, a relevant degree and are looking to gain practical experience working with children, this could be an excellent opportunity to put your knowledge into practice.

The Role:
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
Assisting children with their learning and development
Supporting pupils who may have additional learning or emotional needs
Helping children develop confidence, communication and independence
Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines
Building positive relationships with pupils and helping them feel comfortable in school
Working alongside teachers and support staff to understand individual pupil needs
Gaining valuable hands-on experience within a school environment

This Could Suit Graduates With Backgrounds In:
Child Psychology
Child Development
Psychology
SEND / Special Educational Needs
Education Studies
Childhood Studies
Counselling or related subjects

We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Has recently studied or completed a relevant degree or qualification
Is genuinely interested in working with children and young people
Wants to gain practical, school-based experience
Has a patient, empathetic and supportive approach
Is confident communicating with children and adults
Is keen to develop their understanding of education, SEND and child development

Previous school experience is beneficial but not essential for the right candidate.
