Position Summary:

The Media Animator spearheads the execution of captivating internal and external project animations, as well as supports editorial and post production for Kingfisher. This role works in tandem with Sr. Media Animator and producers to develop animated video deliverables. This pivotal role collaborates closely with the Kingfisher team, creative, and media leads, sets the stage for client engagement, and executes the creative direction of projects.

Job Responsibilities:

Animation Production: Drive the creation and development of animations for diverse projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives

Editorial and Post Production: Work under direction or autonomously to create and deliver finished video modules that tell the internal or client story as assigned including color correction and audio finishing.

Strategic Direction: Partner with Sr. Media Animator to establish project direction, ensuring alignment with client expectations and creative goals

Project Management: Work alongside Production leads to monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and delivering high-quality output

Collaborative Workflow: Engage closely with Creative Directors, Producers, and other team members, fostering a collaborative environment that maximizes creative potential

Independent Contribution: Take the lead on select projects, showcasing expertise in Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, and Unreal Engine 5 to create impactful animations

Show Operations: Serve on show site to create and manage animated content for screen presentation animations for overall show and executive presenters

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a design-related field or equivalent work experience

3-5 years of Ops Graphic Design experience

Competencies:

A robust working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Cinema 4D, Adobe After Effects, and Unreal Engine 5

Proven experience in developing visually stunning animations across various platforms and mediums

Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality

Strong conceptual and creative abilities to translate ideas into visually compelling animated content

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively within a team environment

Expert in seamless project tracking, meeting deadlines during pre-production and onsite phases, and ability to multitask

Willing and able to travel 15% and work nights and weekends as requested

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

The physical demands and work environment of this position vary depending on office, travel, and program assignments.

Onsite responsibilities may require standing and walking for extended periods, including walking long distances throughout large venues such as hotels, convention centers, arenas, and outdoor event spaces. Event schedules may involve extended or irregular hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The employee may be required to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 pounds. Onsite work may occur in indoor or outdoor environments and may involve exposure to varying temperatures, weather conditions, noise levels, crowds, uneven surfaces, and other conditions commonly associated with live events and event venues.
