Van Driver (Chilled & Ambient Deliveries)
Location: Belfast
Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week over 4-5 days
Job Type: Permanent / Full-Time
Reed Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Van Driver on behalf of a well-established food distribution company based in Belfast.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and customer-focused driver with experience handling chilled and ambient food products and carrying out multi-drop deliveries across Northern Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely deliver chilled and ambient food products to customers across designated routes
- Load and unload deliveries efficiently and accurately
- Conduct vehicle checks and ensure all deliveries are completed safely and on time
- Maintain product quality and temperature control throughout deliveries
- Complete delivery paperwork and records as required
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients
- Assist with warehouse duties when required
Essential Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence with a clean driving record
- Previous van driving experience
- Experience loading and unloading goods
- Experience handling chilled and ambient food products
- Good geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
