Chief Executive Officer

Northern Ireland Screen is the strategic agency for the screen industries in Northern Ireland, supporting film, television, animation, games and digital content. Through funding, skills development, education, innovation and policy, the organisation works to establish Northern Ireland as a world-leading hub for screen.

Northern Ireland Screen is seeking to appoint a Chief Executive Officer to provide strategic leadership and direction to the organisation and lead the continued development and growth of Northern Ireland's screen industries.

Reporting to the Chair of the Board, the Chief Executive Officer will be accountable for the delivery of Northern Ireland Screen's vision, strategic priorities and long-term success. As Accounting Officer, the CEO will ensure the highest standards of governance, accountability and stewardship of public funds. The successful candidate will influence policy, secure strategic partnerships, attract investment and champion innovation, skills development and sustainable growth. As a leading ambassador for Northern Ireland's screen industries, they will represent the sector at regional, national and international levels.

The successful candidate will be an experienced senior executive who has operated within a complex organisation and can demonstrate a strong track record of organisational growth, transformation and strategic change. They will have proven experience of influencing at the highest levels of government, industry or public life, developing high-value strategic partnerships and leading through senior management teams. Exceptional communication, negotiation and influencing skills, together with a strong understanding of economic development, organisational strategy and public policy, will be key to success in the role.
