Hays Accountancy & Finance is recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing organisation seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to support its finance function during a key period of transition and growth.This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who can quickly add value, provide financial leadership, and ensure the smooth running of day-to-day finance operations.
Your new role
- Lead and oversee the finance function.
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow processes.
- Ensure robust financial controls and compliance procedures are maintained.
- Support month-end and year-end reporting requirements.
- Oversee payroll, VAT returns, and statutory reporting.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic insight to senior management.
- Identify and implement process improvements where required.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and key stakeholders.
- Support and mentor finance team members.
What you'll need to succeed
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Demonstrable experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance position.
- Strong management accounting and financial reporting expertise.
- Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills.
- Advanced Excel and finance systems knowledge.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.
- Available to start immediately or at short notice.
