Vail Gymnastics - Experienced Team Gymnastics Coach (Part-Time, Year-Round)
Vail Gymnastics is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic USAG Developmental Team Gymnastics Coach to join our year-round competitive program. This part-time role works directly with our compulsory and optional athletes, helping them build strong fundamentals, confident routines, and a love for the sport in a supportive mountain-community environment.
Responsibilities:
Coach team athletes across all events with a focus on safety, proper progressions, and positive athlete development
Spot skills appropriately and assist athletes in achieving new progressions and goals
Support athletes through consistent feedback, motivation, and routine refinement
Collaborate with the Vail Gymnastics coaching team on training plans and meet preparation
Maintain a positive, professional, and team-centered atmosphere
Uphold Vail Gymnastics standards, safety policies, and program expectations
Qualifications:
Prior experience coaching competitive team gymnastics required
Strong knowledge of current USAG progressions and safe spotting techniques
Clear and professional communication skills with both athletes and parents
Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to athlete growth
USAG certifications preferred; ability to obtain required certifications if not current
Schedule & Compensation:
Part-time, year-round position
Hours include evenings and some weekends during meet season
Daytime hours available during the summer months
Competitive pay based on experience and certifications
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12.0 - 20.0 per week
