Job Title: Mine Manager
Location: Quincy, WA - Relocation assistance provided
About the Role
Work hard, play harder. Based in Quincy, WA, this role puts you right at the edge of the Cascade Mountains for weekend adventures, with the city still an easy drive away. Step up to run our mining operations and get the ultimate balance of nature and city living.
In this leadership role, you will manage ore extraction, mobile equipment, and mining activities while driving safety, efficiency, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Leadership: Oversee daily mining activities, ore extraction, and mobile equipment maintenance.
Financial Management: Produce and manage the annual capital and operating budgets for the quarries.
Strategic Planning: Utilize mine planning and AutoCAD software to direct short- and long-term site initiatives.
Vendor & Contract Relations: Negotiate with vendors and service providers to ensure cost-efficient supply, parts, and services.
Regulatory & Technical Compliance: Maintain a safe site environment; obtain and hold an FAA Remote Pilot Certificate (Part 107) for drone operations above the mine site.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: B.S. in Mining Engineering, Minerals Engineering, or Geological Engineering.
Experience: 2+ years of experience in operations, mine planning, and maintenance.
Leadership: Demonstrated leadership experience
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Mine planning software, AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, and office systems (IFS).
Core Competencies: Strong negotiation skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to simultaneously manage multiple initiatives across locations.
Base salary: $120,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience, plus a discretionary bonus based on company performance and individual achievements.
