MCS Group is partnering with a leading organisation as they seek to appoint a Senior HR Business Partner to join their People function.

This is a senior strategic role offering the opportunity to partner directly with Executive and Senior Leaders, shaping and delivering the people agenda across designated business functions.

The role:

You will align people strategy with wider business priorities, leading workforce planning, organisational change, talent and leadership initiatives that support long-term organisational performance.

The main responsibilities:

Develop and deliver functional people plans aligned with operational and strategic priorities.Influence business decisions through commercial understanding, workforce insight and people data.Lead workforce planning across short-, medium- and long-term business requirements.Identify future capability requirements, critical roles, succession risks and talent priorities.Lead the people elements of organisational design, restructuring and wider transformation programmes.Drive initiatives across culture, engagement, leadership capability, talent and organisational effectiveness.Facilitate talent and succession planning discussions with senior leadership teams.Use workforce data to identify emerging trends, organisational risks and opportunities for improvement.

The successful candidate:

Will have significant experience operating at Senior HR Business Partner or Senior People Partner level.Will possess strong commercial awareness and the confidence to influence and constructively challenge senior stakeholders.Will have experience leading workforce planning, organisational change and transformation initiatives.Can demonstrate expertise across talent, succession planning, organisational design and leadership capability.Will be comfortable using people data and workforce insights to influence business decisions.Will have strong knowledge of employee relations and experience supporting senior leaders through formal people processes within an NI organisation.
