Physician Assistant - Endocrinology Location: New Windsor & Monroe, New York

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $150,000 - $170,000 + Full Benefits Package About the Opportunity A well-established multi-site healthcare organization in New York's Hudson Valley is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join a busy specialty practice focused on diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, obesity, and other metabolic conditions. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with diabetes and other metabolic disorders

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and follow-up care

  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies

  • Develop individualized treatment plans

  • Prescribe and manage medications, including insulin therapies

  • Educate patients on disease management and lifestyle modifications

  • Assist with insulin pump and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) therapies

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide high-quality patient care

Qualifications Required

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

  • Active New York Physician Assistant license

  • NCCPA certification

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical experience

  • Experience managing patients with diabetes and chronic conditions

  • Strong communication and patient education skills

  • EMR proficiency

Preferred

  • Previous specialty practice experience

  • Insulin pump management experience

  • Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) experience

  • Strong interest in chronic disease management and patient outcomes
