CNC Mill or Lathe Machinist - Experienced (3+ Years)
Location: Hobart, WI
Position Overview
We are looking for skilled CNC Mill or Lathe Machinist with 3+ years of experience to join our our 2nd shift team, working three 12-hour shifts Tuesday through Thursday from 3:30 PM to 3:30 AM. This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership of their work, thrives in a job shop environment, and enjoys working on a wide variety of precision components.
You will be responsible for full machine setups, optimizing processes, and producing high-quality parts with minimal supervision.
What You'll Do
- Perform complete setup and operation of CNC mills and lathes
- Select tooling, set offsets, and prove out programs
- Edit programs at the machine and troubleshoot issues
- Interpret complex blueprints and GD&T
- Inspect parts to ensure tight tolerances are met
- Optimize cycle times and improve machining processes
- Mentor and support less experienced machinists

What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of CNC machining experience (mills and/or lathes)
- Strong setup experience and ability to run independently
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T
- Experience with program edits and troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities
