Project Administrator
Location: South Down
Contract type: Full-Time, Permanent, 37.5 Hours per Week
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum
On behalf of our client, a well-established organisation, we are seeking a Project Administrator to join their growing team based in South Down.
Please note, this employer is unable to offer sponsorship. Applicants must have permanent right to work in the UK.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and customer-focused individual to work within a fast-paced operational environment, supporting the delivery of planned and responsive maintenance services. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating works, liaising with clients and suppliers, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of projects.
Candidates with experience in administration, project support, maintenance scheduling, customer service, or a mechanical, electrical, or compliance-related environment are encouraged to apply.

About You
You will be a proactive and organised individual who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys working as part of a team. You will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
This role would suit someone with experience in administration, scheduling, project support, customer service, maintenance support, or office coordination who is looking to build a long-term career within a growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle incoming telephone and email enquiries professionally and efficiently
• Schedule and coordinate planned and responsive maintenance works using company software systems
• Liaise with clients, contractors, engineers, and suppliers to ensure works are delivered effectively
• Process and maintain accurate records and data input across company systems
• Monitor and update project information, ensuring deadlines and KPIs are achieved
• Provide administrative support to the operational team
• Ensure compliance with Data Protection policies and procedures
• Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders throughout project lifecycles
• Carry out general office and administrative duties as required
• Support management with additional duties to ensure the efficient running of the business
Qualifications and Skills
• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
• Strong IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Administration qualification or a minimum of 2 years' relevant administrative experience desirable
• Excellent customer service skills with experience dealing with the public in a professional manner
• Experience working within a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and use initiative
• A positive and flexible approach to work
• Strong team-working skills and the ability to build effective working relationships
• Commitment to continuous improvement and learning
