Job description

ATC West Helthcare Services is seeking an onsite Diagnostic Radiologist to provide comprehensive imaging interpretation and light interventional procedures. The role requires broad modality coverage and the ability to perform infant barium enema (BE) exams. This is a high-volume position with defined productivity expectations per shift.

Dates / Schedule


Coverage Type: Onsite

Shift Expectation: 8-hour shifts

Daily Volume: studies per shift

Productivity Target: wRVUs per shift

Job Details & Responsibilities


Imaging Modalities:




  • X-ray (XR)




  • CT




  • MRI




  • Ultrasound (US)




  • Nuclear Medicine (NM)




  • Fluoroscopy (Flouro)





Required Clinical Duties:




  • General diagnostic radiology interpretation across modalities




  • Perform infant BE (barium enema) exams





Light Interventional Radiology Procedures:



Biopsies:




  • Thyroid




  • Lung




  • Liver




  • Renal




  • CT-guided and US-guided biopsies





Drainages:




  • Paracentesis




  • Thoracentesis




  • Abscess drainage




  • Chest tube placement




  • Cyst drainage





Other Procedures:




  • Diagnostic lumbar punctures




  • Arthrograms and joint injections (knee, elbow, hip, ankle, shoulder)



Required Skills & Qualifications


  • Board Certified in Radiology (Required)




  • Active West Virginia medical license (Required)




  • DEA Registration (Required)




  • Clean malpractice history (Required)




  • Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation (Required)




  • Ability to perform infant BE exams and light interventional procedures




This opportunity is well-suited for a diagnostic radiologist comfortable with high daily volumes and minor interventional procedures in an onsite hospital setting.
