Level 1 Trauma Center Acute Care Hospital

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CRNA for a full-time locum assignment at a premier Level 1 Trauma Center in Lexington, KY. This is a high-acuity, team-based environment with strong support and consistent scheduling.

Assignment Details:

• 
  Start Date: October 5, 2026 (flexible after August)


• 
  Contract Length: 26 weeks with extension options


• 
  Schedule: Full-time, 4x10s per week


• 
  Shift: Day shift (7:00 AM 5:30 PM, 30-minute unpaid lunch)


• 
  Availability Requirement: Must be available 4 weeks/month


• 
  Preference: Candidates open to 10:00 AM start times will be prioritized


• 
  No Call
  

Practice Setting:

• Acute Care Hospital (Level 1 Trauma Center)


• Medically directed model (CRNAs supervised by anesthesiologists)


• Team includes CRNAs, anesthesia techs, anesthesiologists, and residents


• Typical patient volume: 1 9 per day


• All age groups (excluding neonates)

Case Mix:

• Orthopedic


• Trauma


• Vascular


• Neuro (no cardiac)


• Non-OR Anesthesia (NORA) required

Required Skills & Procedures:

• Intubation


• Central lines


• Arterial lines


• Line placement


• (Blocks not typically required, no OB)

Requirements:

• NBCRNA Board Certification


• Active KY license (or willingness to obtain licensing support provided)


• Minimum 1 year of experience (no new grads)


• Recent experience in a large medical center


• 
  Level 1 Trauma experience required
  

Additional Details:

• Holiday pay: 1.5x standard rate


• Travel & lodging support available


• Weekly expense allowance up to $1,500 (in lieu of reimbursements)
