The Role


As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and stimulating environment where children can flourish. Your caring and enthusiastic approach will help nurture children's wellbeing and development, whether you're looking for flexible shifts or a consistent working pattern.



Responsibilities


  • Support children's learning through play and planned activities
  • Promote every child's wellbeing, safety, and development
  • Observe and record children's progress accurately
  • Build positive relationships with parents and colleagues
  • Create a fun, nurturing, and engaging learning environment



Skills and Experience


  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) required
  • Previous experience working in an Early Years setting as a Nursery Practitioner
  • Paediatric First Aid qualification is desirable
  • Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
  • Ability to provide references covering the previous 24 months



Location and Package


  • Based in Walsall
  • £14.24 per hour
  • Contract position starting 1st September 2026
