Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Location: Jamestown, New York

We're seeking an experienced Board-Certified OB/GYN Laborist for an ASAP locum opportunity in Jamestown NY. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians who enjoy Labor & Delivery coverage without routine clinic responsibilities.

• 
  Schedule: 24-hour in-house Laborist shifts (8:00 AM 8:00 AM)


• 
  Coverage Needed: Approximately 5 shifts per month


• 
  Maximum: 5 consecutive 24-hour shifts


• 
  Start Date: ASAP


• 
  Assignment Length: Ongoing


• 
  Practice Setting: Hospital-based Labor & Delivery


• 
  EMR: Epic

• Average 2.5 deliveries per day
  


• Average 2 admissions per shift
  


• Average 5 inpatient census
  


• Midwife coverage Monday-Friday (7 AM-7 PM) with weekend backup


• APP support available


• Physician call room located in Labor & Delivery


• No solo coverage

• Full, Temporary, and Emergency Privileges Available


• Estimated credentialing: Approximately 90 days

Travel expenses are covered, including:

• Airfare


• Lodging


• Rental car & fuel


• Personal mileage reimbursement

This hospital is now the only hospital delivering babies in the immediate surrounding counties , making this a vital role supporting maternal care for the region. You'll join an established Laborist team while helping fill an urgent coverage gap created by a provider illness.
