Macdonald Spey Valley Resort are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our kitchen team in a bustling restaurant setting, set in the heart of the Cairngoms.
Responsibilities
- Oversee kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef
- Assist in menu planning and food preparation
- Supervise kitchen staff to ensure quality and timeliness of food production
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
- Contribute to the training and development of junior kitchen staff
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment
- Strong culinary skills with expertise in food preparation and presentation
- Leadership qualities with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting
