Are you an experienced, high-level motorcycle technician capable of complex fault-finding, engine overhauls, and working on top-tier performance machinery?
At On Yer Bike , we are looking for a Specialist Motorcycle Technician to join our premier workshop team near Aylesbury. As an official dealer for Kawasaki , Ducati , Aprilia , and Moto Guzzi , this role is designed for a senior tech who thrives on technical challenges and wants to work with some of the most advanced two-wheeled technology on the market.
What You'll Be Doing
Working in our modern, fully equipped workshop, you will handle our most technical and in-depth jobs:
Complex Diagnostics: Utilizing advanced factory diagnostic tools to troubleshoot intricate electrical, electronic, and fuel injection issues.
Major Mechanical Work: Performing detailed engine, gearbox, and chassis rebuilds, as well as complex mechanical repairs to high standards.
Brand Specialism: Working directly on flagships and high-performance models across Ducati, Kawasaki, Aprilia, and Moto Guzzi.
MOT Testing: Conducting Class 2 MOT inspections and ensuring full DVSA compliance across all tested machines.
Quality & Technical Mentorship: Assisting with quality control checks and supporting mid-level technicians with complex technical queries.
Who We're Looking For
Experience: Extensive experience in a franchised motorcycle dealership or high-level specialist workshop environment.
Technical Expertise: Advanced diagnostic skills, strong electrical fault-finding ability, and deep experience with modern engine systems.
Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent proven master/senior tech experience).
MOT Tester: Active DVSA Class 2 MOT Tester status is highly preferred.
License: Full UK motorcycle license (Class A) is essential.
