Academics, an established Education Agency, are acting as an agency and are recruiting a Primary HLTA to work on a temporary, ongoing supply basis across a variety of welcoming primary schools throughout Doncaster.

This Primary HLTA opportunity offers a varied role supporting teaching and learning across different year groups and school environments in Doncaster. Working as a Primary HLTA may include leading intervention groups, supporting whole-class learning and providing planned classroom cover where required.

Position: Primary HLTA

Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply

Pay: £100 - £140 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)

Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you

About the Role

Working as a Primary HLTA in Doncaster, you will play an important role in supporting pupils and teachers across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

The Primary HLTA role in Doncaster offers the opportunity to work across a variety of schools, helping to deliver planned learning activities, targeted interventions and occasional whole-class cover.

Key Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Deliver planned lessons and activities where required
• Provide classroom cover when needed
• Lead small group and intervention sessions
• Support pupils' progress and wellbeing
• Follow safeguarding procedures at all times

Candidate Requirements

• HLTA qualification or relevant HLTA experience
• Previous experience working within a primary school
• Confidence delivering planned lessons and managing a classroom
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
