Spanish and French Teacher

  • Job Type: Temporary (initial half term with potential extension)
  • Location: Tower Hamlets
  • Start Date: September

We are currently seeking a dedicated Spanish and French Teacher to join our vibrant school in Tower Hamlets for an initial period of one-half term, starting in September, with the possibility of extending the placement for a full term or longer. This role is ideal for a dynamic educator who is passionate about languages and committed to delivering high-quality teaching to students.


Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective Spanish and French lessons to students across various age groups.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans that cater to the needs of all students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and additional support as needed.
  • Foster a stimulating learning environment that promotes enthusiasm for languages.
  • Collaborate with other language teachers and staff to enhance the languages department and cross-curricular activities.
  • Participate in school events and activities related to language learning and cultural exchange.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Spanish and/or French.
  • Proven experience in teaching Spanish and French at various educational levels.
  • Excellent command of both Spanish and French languages.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Flexibility to adapt to new challenges and changes in the school environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
