Excellent opportunity for an experienced Chartered Surveyor to join a high-quality Claims/Loss Adjusting business, to develop and grow the Surveying Services division.
- As a Chartered Surveyor, working from a home base you will be expected to deal with a mixed portfolio of Perils related losses such as (escape of water, impact, fire, storm) etc.
- You will play a crucial role in assessing and evaluating property damage, responsible for conducting surveys, inspections, and investigations to determine the extent of damage, estimate repair costs, and provide accurate reports for insurance claims.
- Your expertise as a Chartered Surveyor and attention to detail will be essential in ensuring fair and accurate claim settlements.
About you:
- Proven experience working as a Surveyor, preferably claims management/loss adjusting or insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of property surveying techniques, building materials, and construction practices.
- Experienced in surveying both domestic and commercial properties.
- Experienced in interpreting insurance policies, coverage, and claims handling processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with acute attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely.
- Professional certifications, such as MRICS, MCIOB, or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various claim sites.
Salary & Benefits:
In return they will offer a salary up to £75,000 depending on qualifications and experience, plus a full benefits package including car allowance, pension, death in service and up to 30 days holiday with service.
