What You ll Do:

• Perform adult cardiac surgeries including CABG and valve repairs/replacements


• Conduct general thoracic procedures like VATS lung biopsies, thoracostomies, tracheostomies, and pericardial windows


• Manage ICU high-risk cases, including Impella procedures and critically ill patient medical management


• Support structural heart procedures in hybrid OR and cath lab settings


• Collaborate with an experienced anesthesia team, ICU staff, and first assist with endoscopic vein harvesting


• Document procedures accurately using the EPIC EMR system


• Provide expertise in complex adult cardiac and thoracic cases, ensuring optimal patient outcomes

What You Need:

• Valid Kentucky medical license


• Board Certified or eligible in Thoracic Surgery or Cardiothoracic Surgery


• Minimum 2+ years of cardiothoracic surgical experience


• Proficiency in ICU management and high-risk case support


• Excellent communication and collaborative skills


• Ability to handle high-acuity cases with confidence and professionalism
