Wraparound Supervisor (Level 3) - Rugeley John Taylor School



The Supply Register are recruiting on behalf of Rugeley John Taylor School for a Wraparound Supervisor (Level 3) to join their growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional to lead the school's wraparound provision for Nursery and Reception-aged children, providing a safe, engaging and nurturing environment before and after the school day.


Role Details



Position: Wraparound Supervisor (Level 3)

Hours: 22.5 hours per week


Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 7:30am to 9:00am
  • 3:00pm to 6:00pm


About the Role


The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the wraparound provision, supporting a small group of approximately 10 children per session. You will lead activities, ensure children's wellbeing and development are promoted, and provide effective supervision of the Wraparound Play Worker.


Responsibilities


  • Lead and supervise the wraparound provision.
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities suitable for Nursery and Reception children.
  • Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents and staff.
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, welfare and health & safety.
  • Support children's learning, development and wellbeing through play.


Essential Requirements


  • Recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification.
  • Experience working with Early Years children.
  • Understanding of EYFS requirements.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
