IT Support Engineer
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Full-time
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their technical support team.
This is a varied, customer-facing role involving remote and on-site support, troubleshooting, infrastructure maintenance and technical escalation.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot Microsoft, hardware, software, server and networking problems.
- Attend customer sites for support, consultancy and proactive maintenance.
- Manage and monitor servers, backups, networks, firewalls and security systems.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure and Windows Server.
- Monitor patching and alerts using RMM solutions.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and support records.
- Assist with mentoring and developing Junior Engineers.
The Candidate:
- Strong Microsoft experience, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Good knowledge of networking and infrastructure.
- Experience providing on-site, customer-facing technical support.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
