Job Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Conveyancer to join our Conveyancing Dept. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own caseload, providing expert legal advice, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. The ideal applicant will possess strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and proficiency in IT systems to deliver efficient legal services.
Duties
Dealing with sale, purchase, new build and remortgage matters
Running your own caseload and maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with the firm's best practices and policies.
Keeping abreast of changes in property law and relevant regulations
Taking initial instructions
Providing cost quotations
Issuing contract packs
Preparing files for completion including, applying for searches, updating third parties, applying for redemption statements
Post completion duties
Contribute to marketing efforts and client relationship management.
Qualifications
At least 2 years proven experience working as a Conveyancer and be CQS accredited
You must be able to work independently and under supervision
Excellent time management skills
Positive and friendly attitude with excellent client care skills
Good IT skills including Microsoft packages, case management systems
Understanding of SRA Code of Conduct / CLC Code of Conduct requirements and other regulatory bodies
Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering, Mortgage Fraud & Counter Terrorism regulations
Knowledge and understanding of CQS accreditation
Pay: £34,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
