Licenses & Certifications
Board Certified in Emergency Medicine - REQUIRED(Not accepting BE for this leadership role)
Experience / Skills
Experienced Emergency Medicine physician with prior leadership, director-level, or administrative experience- Proven capability in:

Leadership + Clinical Responsibilities
Leadership Duties Include:
- Medical Director + Department Chair oversight
- Staffing & schedule management
- Financial management / operational oversight
- Quality, safety & performance improvement initiatives
- Collaboration with system leadership & academic partners
- Support from East Carolina University's Brody School of Medicine
Clinical Duties Include:
- Direct patient care in the ED
- Working alongside existing physician and APP teams
ED & Team Structure
21-bed Emergency Department- Annual patient volume: 23,100 visits/year
- Team: 6 Emergency Medicine physicians + 9 APPs
