Job Description:
The CDL operator (Hazmat) is responsible for the safe loading, transportation, and delivery of diesel
product to various customer locations.
Job tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Loading from a fuel rack into a delivery trailer or straight truck, traversing public and lease roads to oil and gas sites, delivering into bulk fuel tanks and various pieces of equipment.
- In addition to these duties, the CDL Operator (Hazmat) is responsible for daily inspection of equipment and cargo for road worthiness and compliance the local, state, and federal regulations.
- The CDL Operator will operate within hours of service regulations set forth by the FMCSA and State of Texas for an intrastate vehicle operator.
- Minor troubleshooting and maintenance is expected.
Requirements:
- An approved candidate will be required to complete a second application as required by the FMCSA in addition to the general employment application.
- Candidates must be authorized to operate with air brakes.
