Electrician (Solar Qualified)
Location: South Wales
Salary: £37,000-£43,000 per year (depending on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role
We are looking for a qualified Electrician with solar PV experience to join our growing team covering South Wales. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established company delivering high-quality electrical and renewable energy installations for domestic and commercial customers.
The successful candidate will carry out a variety of electrical work, including solar PV installations, maintenance, fault finding, inspections, and testing while maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain and repair electrical systems.
Install, commission and maintain solar PV systems.
Carry out electrical testing, inspection and fault finding.
Complete certification and job documentation accurately.
Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards.
Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional approach on every job.
Essential Requirements
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
AM2 qualification.
Valid ECS Gold Card.
Solar PV qualification and practical installation experience.
Full UK driving licence.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of workmanship.
Desirable
Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent).
Experience installing battery storage systems and EV charge points.
