Position Summary
AviPartner is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Recruiter to join our growing team in Stockton, CA. This role is responsible for managing the entire recruitment process from sourcing and interviewing candidates to onboarding and client support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background recruiting for light industrial, technical, and skilled trade positions in a fast-paced staffing environment.
The successful candidate must be highly organized, relationship-focused, and capable of balancing multiple priorities while delivering exceptional service to both clients and candidates.
Essential Responsibilities
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition intake through onboarding and placement.
Source, screen, interview, and evaluate candidates for light industrial, technical, and skilled trade positions.
Build and maintain talent pipelines through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
Conduct phone interviews, in-person interviews, and skills assessments.
Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, reference checks, and onboarding requirements.
Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the ATS.
Partner closely with clients and internal teams to understand hiring needs and workforce planning.
Attend job fairs, hiring events, and community networking opportunities.
Monitor employee attendance, performance, and assignment completion.
Perform regular follow-ups with placed employees and client contacts to ensure satisfaction.
Meet recruiting, placement, retention, and service goals.
Assist with employee relations issues and resolve concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Support business development efforts through recruiting market intelligence and candidate availability updates.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of staffing industry recruiting experience preferred.
Proven experience recruiting for:
Light Industrial
Manufacturing
Warehouse & Logistics
Skilled Trades
Technical Positions
Experience working in a fast-paced staffing or workforce solutions environment.
Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple requisitions and deadlines simultaneously.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
