Your new company


A well-established and growing engineering manufacturer based in the Dungannon area. The organisation operates within a multi-work centre production environment and supplies products across a range of industrial sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Production Planner to support operations and improve overall efficiency.



Your new role


As Production Planner, you will play a key role in coordinating production activity and ensuring efficient scheduling across the business.
Key responsibilities include:


Planning and scheduling production across a multi-work centre environment with capacity considerations
Working closely with sales, production, and purchasing teams to align workflow with demand
Developing weekly and daily production plans to maximise output and efficiency
Acting as the central point of communication for production progress and delivery updates
Ensuring delivery dates are accurate and clearly communicated
Supporting sales and operations planning activities to align demand with capacity
Driving continuous improvement within planning processes and ERP systems
Monitoring key metrics including output, dispatch, and forecast accuracy



What you'll need to succeed


Previous experience in a production planning or scheduling roleBackground within engineering or manufacturing environments (desirable)
Strong working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
