Where will you be working?


This role is in our Plant & Fleet department, our Plant & Fleet supports teams across our business with their vehicle, plant and specialist equipment needs, offering hire solutions that are commercially effective, reliable, safe and compliant.


Based at our Stevenage office (with hybrid working available), the Fleet Services Admin Manager will play a pivotal role in the management of one of the largest fleets in the industry. You will lead a dedicated team responsible for ensuring key administrative aspects of our fleet are accurate, compliant, and support our operational excellence goals.

What will you be doing?


Lead, motivate, and develop the fleet administration team to deliver excellent service standards.
Oversee administrative processes, ensuring the adherence to policies and procedures whilst maintaining timely, and accurate records across our internal and external systems.
Reconcile and maintain data sets across systems, interpreting information to identify and take appropriate actions.
Build strong working relationships with business units to support operational objectives.
Identify and implement opportunities for administrative and service improvements.
Occasional travel to other sites or meetings as necessary.


Specialist Fleet Administration:


Manage the allocation and administration of fuel cards.
Oversee and ensure accurate driving licence checking processes.
Maintain up-to-date records and allocations for the Motor Insurance Database (MID).
Oversee the process for issuing and managing parking permits.
Manage the allocation and billing of tolls.
Reporting & Billing: Ensure timely and accurate reporting and billing for all fleet activities.


What you'll bring


Previous experience with fleet administration.
People management experience; with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrable ability to manage data, reporting, and administrative systems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage collaboratively across teams.
Able to prioritise workload and manage competing deadlines.
Flexible and willing to travel for business as required.
