Job Title: HGV Driver
Are you a skilled and experienced HGV Artic Driver looking to join a reputable and highly regarded FORS Gold Specialist Transport Company? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to be a part of our dynamic team! We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious individual to join us as an HGV Artic Driver and play a crucial role in our success. Please note, this job will involve nights out, so any candidates applying for this position must be willing to do nights out.

Job Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently operate articulated vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
Adhere to all road safety regulations, company policies, and FORS Gold standards at all times.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle's roadworthiness and compliance.
Load security to prevent damage during transportation.
Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while considering traffic and weather conditions.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with customers.
Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle issues promptly to the appropriate authorities and supervisors.
Requirements:
Valid Class C+E (Class 1) driving license.
Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Flexible schedule and a willingness to work nights out, and occasional weekends if required.
