We are looking for an experienced Plant Engineer to join our team in Poole, Dorset. If you are experienced with heavy plant and agricultural machinery, we would love to hear from you.
Digger Parts Direct is a small independent Company.
Basic Package:
Salary range £40,000 - £50,000 dependant on experience
Company Van with fuel card provided
Overtime available
On going training and support

Requirements:
Must have full driving licence with HGV as an advantage but not essential
Be able to service, diagnose and repair various machinery including diggers, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers, forklifts ETC
We are seeking a time served engineer within the heavy plant / construction plant sectors. Previous experience is essential
Must be experienced working as a service engineer attending breakdowns at customers sites
Diagnose and fault find any machine defects and carry out repairs confidently
You will need to have knowledge auto-electrics; engines, transmissions, hydraulics and pneumatics
Ability to diagnose faults on heavy construction plant such as Diggers, Dumpers, Excavators, Forklift trucks, Road pavers and Telehandlers
Must have the ability to work on site unaided when required
Responsibilities:
Complete repairs and routine maintenance procedures
Fault find and diagnose faults on hydraulic systems and electrical circuits
Carry out repairs and replace faulty components, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship at all times
Performing thorough fault finding and inspections to identify potential issues and recommending preventative maintenance measures.
