Hiring Range:
$400,000 - $450,000

UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks an Academic Foot and Ankle Surgeon to join our growing team. Our competitive compensation and benefits package places us as your top choice in the region.
Key Highlights
Established academic orthopedic department with a strong history of clinical excellence and training across residents, fellows, and medical students
Comprehensive foot and ankle program performing over 1,100 cases annually across UMass facilities and a dedicated ambulatory surgery center
Collaborative, multidisciplinary team including foot and ankle surgeons and podiatry partners
Strong commitment to medical education, with an active role in training orthopedic residents and medical students at UMass Chan Medical School
Opportunities for clinical and basic science research, with academic appointment commensurate with experience and training
Diverse and complex case mix within a high-volume academic and tertiary care environment
Access to modern technology platforms, including Epic EMR, supporting efficient workflows

Qualifications
Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
Fellowship training in Foot and Ankle Surgery required
Demonstrated interest in academic medicine, including teaching and/or research
MD or DO degree with eligibility for Massachusetts medical licensure
