Health First Medical Group is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our established Orthopedic Trauma team in a primarily outpatient role. This is a great opportunity to step into a high-functioning, supportive clinical environment with a predictable weekday schedule, strong physician collaboration, and no call responsibilities.
Schedule
Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 11:30 AM
No call required
Position Highlights
Outpatient-focused Orthopedic Trauma role
No surgical or inpatient rounding responsibilities
Stable weekday schedule with excellent work-life balance
Established, high-volume orthopedic trauma program
Supportive, team-based environment
Balanced patient volume with strong clinical support staff
Opportunity to work closely with orthopedic surgeons and APP colleagues
Clinical Responsibilities
Outpatient orthopedic trauma follow-up care
Pre-operative evaluations and surgical clearances
Patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
Coordination of care across the orthopedic service line
Collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
Practice Environment
Established Orthopedic Trauma program within a high-performing system
Dedicated support staff including LPNs and Medical Assistants
Collaborative, team-oriented clinical culture
Strong physician mentorship and integration within orthopedics
Qualifications
Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C)
Active DEA license (or eligibility)
Orthopedic and/or trauma experience preferred but not required
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient care skills
