MOT TESTER / Technician
£36,000 - £40,000 including bonus, overtime and OTE.

We are a growing and successful business and are now looking for an additional Vehicle Technician to join our growing and successful team!

You will need to be a qualified and practicing MOT Tester, in class 4 vehicles, with a minimum of three years testing experience.
This role offers weekday working only , with no weekends or bank holiday working.
Job Overview
We are seeking a qualified and practicing class 4 MOT tester, with a minimum of 3 years testing experience. Whilst the role will primarily be conducting MOT tests, there will also be some requirement for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in every task, and in ensuring we always exceed the DVSA testing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out Class 4 MOT tests in accordance with DVSA guidelines
Accurately recording test results and completing all relevant documentation
Identifying and reporting any additional repair work required
Working collaboratively with the workshop team to maintain productivity and quality standards
Ensuring all equipment is maintained and calibrated in line with regulations
Adhering to Health & Safety procedures at all times
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
A fully qualified MOT Tester with a valid MOT Testing Licence
Experienced within a busy workshop environment
Thorough, methodical and committed to high standards of workmanship
IT literate and confident using workshop systems
A strong team player with good communication skills
In possession of a full UK driving licence with less than 6 points

- Be able to work to timescales and deadlines while getting the job done correctly
Benefits and Hours:
Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 + OTE earnings depending on experience, including bonus, plus free gym membership, employee discounts, company pension and many other great perks.
Hours: Monday to Friday only. 08:00 to 17:00
