The University of South Florida (USF) and Tampa General Hospital (TGH) invite applications for an academic Pulmonologist seeking to practice Critical Care Medicine. The applicant should have a strong interest in Critical Care Medicine. This is an outstanding opportunity to join one of the top-performing Pulmonary programs in the nation, within a leading academic health system known for innovation, quality, and growth. Tampa General Hospital (TGH) - the primary teaching hospital for USF and boasts of a Pulmonary Critical Care Department with over 15 divisions.
Priority will be given to candidates with fellowship training in Pulmonary Medicine
7 days on 7 days off rotation in Medical ICU unit, 24 weeks per year. 40% night shifts
As part of the academic faculty, the candidate will participate in multidisciplinary pulmonary consults, ICU rounds and be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
Engagement in scholarly activities such as clinical research, quality improvement, and academic presentations is strongly encouraged
Active involvement in resident and medical student education within USF Health Morsani College of Medicine
