Assistant Professor of Medicine at the CUMC- Endocrinology


The Division of Endocrinology in the Department of Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) invites applications for the position at the rank of Assistant Professor.



Position Overview



This faculty position is primarily focused on clinical care and education at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Irving Medical Center (NYP/CUIMC). The successful candidate will:




  • Develop and maintain an thyroid disease focused outpatient general endocrinology practice (approximately eight weekly sessions) at our CUIMC location.




  • Participate actively in teaching medical students, residents, and endocrinology fellows in inpatient and outpatient settings.




  • Engage in scholarly activities as desired (research participation is encouraged but not required).





Qualifications




  • MD degree or equivalent medical degree.




  • Board certification or eligibility in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.




  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of New York.




  • Additional subspecialty expertise (such as thyroid ultrasound/biopsy, DXA scan interpretation, or insulin pump/continuous glucose monitoring management) is desirable but not required.






Salary Range:
$210,000.00 - $257,000.00
