Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Director to lead our dental team in beautiful Crescent City, California. This full-time leadership role offers an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing high-quality dental care to a rural, underserved community while enjoying a rewarding work-life balance and the stunning natural beauty of Northern California s coast and redwood forests.

Schedule:


We currently operate on 12-hour rotating shifts for optimal flexibility and extended time off:





  • Rotation 1: Sunday Tuesday, 8:00 AM 8:00 PM





  • Rotation 2: Wednesday Thursday, 8:00 AM 8:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM 2:00 PM





  • Enjoy 7 days off every other week!







Key Responsibilities:




  • Provide high-quality general dental care to patients across all age groups.




  • Lead, mentor, and support the dental team to ensure exceptional patient care and positive outcomes.




  • Collaborate with the clinic s medical and administrative leadership to align dental services with the organization s mission and goals.




  • Oversee compliance with all applicable dental practice regulations, infection control standards, and clinical policies.




  • Manage and optimize patient flow, scheduling, and productivity to meet organizational benchmarks.




  • Foster a welcoming and compassionate patient experience that reflects the clinic s commitment to community-centered care.







Qualifications:




  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.





  • Active California dental license (or eligibility for licensure).




  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience preferred; prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.




  • Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.




  • Commitment to serving rural and underserved populations with empathy and respect.







Compensation & Benefits:





  • Salary: $225,000 per year





  • Bonus: $25 per billable patient encounter





  • Relocation Assistance: $9,000
