At On Yer Bike , this role isn't just about turning spanners-it's about becoming a specialist across multiple legendary brands. You'll be at the sharp end of service and preparation for some of the world's most exciting and high-specification machines: Ducati , Kawasaki , Aprilia , and Moto Guzzi .
We're looking for a dedicated and efficient individual ready to take complete ownership of their work bay. If you are ready to apply your technical expertise to a diverse range of work-from complex diagnostics on cutting-edge Italian bikes to preparing new stock-this is the perfect opportunity to join our award-winning team, on a schedule that suits your life.
What You'll Be Doing
In our busy multi-franchise workshop, variety is guaranteed. As a specialist, your focus will include:
Premium Workload: Focus on new and used bikes from our Italian and Japanese manufacturers, ensuring they meet the highest standards before delivery.
Complete Service: Carry out all aspects of motorcycle repair and maintenance, including routine servicing, accessory fitting, and complex diagnostics.
Preparation & Quality: Ensure the timely and meticulous preparation of sales stock.
MOT Testing: Conduct MOT tests on a wide range of motorcycles to ensure roadworthiness and safety.
Who You Are We need an independent and efficient self-starter who is ready to commit to excellence during their hours on-site. You must be able to work unsupervised and be the master of your own workflow.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Experience is Key: A minimum of 2-3 years of technical experience with modern motorcycles, ideally gained in a franchised workshop environment.
Technical Proficiency: Fully qualified as a Specialist Motorcycle Technician.
Safety & Efficiency: The ability to work unsupervised in a safe, timely, and highly efficient manner.
Mindset: A strong "can-do" attitude, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
MOT Qualification: A qualified MOT Tester is required for this role.
