Job Description

To provide specialised senior legal support to General Counsel, Senior Legal Counsel, CEO, Executives, and senior managers, to ensure that the business receives the legal and related support necessary to enable the effective delivery of their objectives and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks.

Essential Criteria

• A qualified solicitor with at least 5 years post-qualification experience practising as a solicitor, holding, or eligible to hold, a Northern Ireland practising certificate. (Note, if not held, the successful applicant will be required to obtain a practising certificate upon appointment).
• Minimum of 2 years demonstrable experience providing strategic and business orientated legal and risk mitigation advice and solutions, either in an in-house legal role, or as an external legal advisor to a large complex organisation.
• Minimum of 2 years demonstrable experience in the successful delivery of high value or high-profile legal disputes or challenges or complex and high value legal transactions.

Desirable Criteria

• Experience in providing guidance on, and promoting the principles of, effective corporate governance and compliance.
